Surah Al-Furqan - Ayahs_46-60

25) সূরা আল-ফুরকান (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 77

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

ثُمَّ قَبَضْنَاهُ إِلَيْنَا قَبْضًا يَسِيرًا

(46

অতঃপর আমি একে নিজের দিকে ধীরে ধীরে গুটিয়ে আনি।

Then We withdraw it to Us a gradual concealed withdrawal.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ اللَّيْلَ لِبَاسًا وَالنَّوْمَ سُبَاتًا وَجَعَلَ النَّهَارَ نُشُورًا

(47

তিনিই তো তোমাদের জন্যে রাত্রিকে করেছেন আবরণ, নিদ্রাকে বিশ্রাম এবং দিনকে করেছেন বাইরে গমনের জন্যে।

And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death).

وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ الرِّيَاحَ بُشْرًا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَحْمَتِهِ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاء مَاء طَهُورًا

(48

তিনিই স্বীয় রহমতের প্রাক্কালে বাতাসকে সুসংবাদবাহীরূপে প্রেরণ করেন। এবং আমি আকাশ থেকে পবিত্রতা অর্জনের জন্যে পানি বর্ষণ করি।

And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain), and We send down pure water from the sky,

لِنُحْيِيَ بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا وَنُسْقِيَهُ مِمَّا خَلَقْنَا أَنْعَامًا وَأَنَاسِيَّ كَثِيرًا

(49

তদ্দ্বারা মৃত ভূভাগকে সঞ্জীবিত করার জন্যে এবং আমার সৃষ্ট জীবজন্তু ও অনেক মানুষের তৃষ্ণা নিবারণের জন্যে।

That We may give life thereby to a dead land, and We give to drink thereof many of the cattle and men that We had created.

وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَاهُ بَيْنَهُمْ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا فَأَبَى أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ إِلَّا كُفُورًا

(50

এবং আমি তা তাদের মধ্যে বিভিন্নভাবে বিতরণ করি, যাতে তারা স্মরণ করে। কিন্তু অধিকাংশ লোক অকৃতজ্ঞতা ছাড়া কিছুই করে না।

And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember the Grace of Allah, but most men refuse (or deny the Truth or Faith) and accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude.

وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَذِيرًا

(51

আমি ইচ্ছা করলে প্রত্যেক জনপদে একজন ভয় প্রদর্শনকারী প্রেরণ করতে পারতাম।

And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town.

فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكَافِرِينَ وَجَاهِدْهُم بِهِ جِهَادًا كَبِيرًا

(52

অতএব আপনি কাফেরদের আনুগত্য করবেন না এবং তাদের সাথে এর সাহায্যে কঠোর সংগ্রাম করুন।

So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour, with it (the Qur'an).

وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هَذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا

(53

তিনিই সমান্তরালে দুই সমুদ্র প্রবাহিত করেছেন, এটি মিষ্ট, তৃষ্ণা নিবারক ও এটি লোনা, বিস্বাদ; উভয়ের মাঝখানে রেখেছেন একটি অন্তরায়, একটি দুর্ভেদ্য আড়াল।

And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water), one palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter, and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.

وَهُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاء بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا

(54

তিনিই পানি থেকে সৃষ্টি করেছেন মানবকে, অতঃপর তাকে রক্তগত, বংশ ও বৈবাহিক সম্পর্কশীল করেছেন। তোমার পালনকর্তা সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।

And it is He Who has created man from water, and has appointed for him kindred by blood, and kindred by marriage. And your Lord is Ever All-Powerful to do what He will.

وَيَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلَى رَبِّهِ ظَهِيرًا

(55

তারা এবাদত করে আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে এমন কিছুর, যা তাদের উপকার করতে পারে না এবং ক্ষতিও করতে পারে না। কাফের তো তার পালনকর্তার প্রতি পৃষ্ঠপ্রদর্শনকারী।

And they (disbelievers, polytheists, etc.) worship besides Allah, that which can neither profit them nor harm them, and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord.

وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا

(56

আমি আপনাকে সুসংবাদ ও সতর্ককারীরূপেই প্রেরণ করেছি।

And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW ) only as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.

قُلْ مَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ إِلَّا مَن شَاء أَن يَتَّخِذَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ سَبِيلًا

(57

বলুন, আমি তোমাদের কাছে এর কোন বিনিময় চাই না, কিন্তু যে ইচ্ছা করে, সে তার পালনকর্তার পথ অবলম্বন করুক।

Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (that which I have brought from my Lord and its preaching, etc.), save that whosoever wills, may take a Path to his Lord.

وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِي لَا يَمُوتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهِ وَكَفَى بِهِ بِذُنُوبِ عِبَادِهِ خَبِيرًا

(58

আপনি সেই চিরঞ্জীবের উপর ভরসা করুন, যার মৃত্যু নেই এবং তাঁর প্রশংসাসহ পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করুন। তিনি বান্দার গোনাহ সম্পর্কে যথেষ্ট খবরদার।

And put your trust (O Muhammad SAW) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves;

الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْعَرْشِ الرَّحْمَنُ فَاسْأَلْ بِهِ خَبِيرًا

(59

তিনি নভোমন্ডল, ভূমন্ডল ও এতদুভয়ের অন্তর্বর্তী সবকিছু ছয়দিনে সৃস্টি করেছেন, অতঃপর আরশে সমাসীন হয়েছেন। তিনি পরম দয়াময়। তাঁর সম্পর্কে যিনি অবগত, তাকে জিজ্ঞেস কর।

Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days. Then He Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). The Most Beneficent (Allah)! Ask Him (O Prophet Muhammad SAW), (concerning His Qualities, His rising over His Throne, His creations, etc.), as He is Al-Khabir (The All-Knower of everything i.e. Allah).

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوا لِلرَّحْمَنِ قَالُوا وَمَا الرَّحْمَنُ أَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُورًا

(60

তাদেরকে যখন বলা হয়, দয়াময়কে সেজদা কর, তখন তারা বলে, দয়াময় আবার কে? তুমি কাউকে সেজদা করার আদেশ করলেই কি আমরা সেজদা করব? এতে তাদের পলায়নপরতাই বৃদ্ধি পায়।

And when it is said to them: "Prostrate to the Most Beneficent (Allah)! They say: "And what is the Most Beneficent? Shall we fall down in prostration to that which you (O Muhammad SAW) command us?" And it increases in them only aversion.
