Surah Al-Muminun - Ayahs_106-118

23) সূরা আল মু'মিনূন (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 118

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

قَالُوا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَالِّينَ

(106

তারা বলবেঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা, আমরা দূর্ভাগ্যের হাতে পরাভূত ছিলাম এবং আমরা ছিলাম বিভ্রান্ত জাতি।

They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people.

رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ

(107

হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! এ থেকে আমাদেরকে উদ্ধার কর; আমরা যদি পুনরায় তা করি, তবে আমরা গোনাহগার হব।

"Our Lord! Bring us out of this; if ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers, etc.)."

قَالَ اخْسَؤُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ

(108

আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমরা ধিকৃত অবস্থায় এখানেই পড়ে থাক এবং আমার সাথে কোন কথা বলো না।

He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!"

إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

(109

আমার বান্দাদের একদলে বলতঃ হে আমাদের পালনকর্তা! আমরা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করেছি। অতএব তুমি আমাদেরকে ক্ষমা কর ও আমাদের প্রতি রহম কর। তুমি তো দয়ালুদের মধ্যে শ্রেষ্ঠ দয়ালু।

Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"

فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّى أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِي وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ

(110

অতঃপর তোমরা তাদেরকে ঠাট্টার পাত্ররূপে গ্রহণ করতে। এমনকি, তা তোমাদেরকে আমার স্মরণ ভুলিয়ে দিয়েছিল এবং তোমরা তাদেরকে দেখে পরিহাস করতে।

But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them!

إِنِّي جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوا أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ

(111

আজ আমি তাদেরকে তাদের সবরের কারণে এমন প্রতিদান দিয়েছি যে, তারাই সফলকাম।

Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful.

قَالَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ

(112

আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমরা পৃথিবীতে কতদিন অবস্থান করলে বছরের গণনায়?

He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?"

قَالُوا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَاسْأَلْ الْعَادِّينَ

(113

তারা বলবে, আমরা একদিন অথবা দিনের কিছু অংশ অবস্থান করেছি। অতএব আপনি গণনাকারীদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন।

They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep account."

قَالَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

(114

আল্লাহ বলবেনঃ তোমরা তাতে অল্পদিনই অবস্থান করেছ, যদি তোমরা জানতে?

He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known!

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ

(115

তোমরা কি ধারণা কর যে, আমি তোমাদেরকে অনর্থক সৃষ্টি করেছি এবং তোমরা আমার কাছে ফিরে আসবে না?

"Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?"

فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

(116

অতএব শীর্ষ মহিমায় আল্লাহ, তিনি সত্যিকার মালিক, তিনি ব্যতীত কোন মাবুদ নেই। তিনি সম্মানিত আরশের মালিক।

So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne!

وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهُ بِهِ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُ عِندَ رَبِّهِ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكَافِرُونَ

(117

যে কেউ আল্লাহর সাথে অন্য উপাস্যকে ডাকে, তার কাছে যার সনদ নেই, তার হিসাব তার পালণকর্তার কাছে আছে। নিশ্চয় কাফেররা সফলকাম হবে না।

And whoever invokes (or worships), besides Allah, any other ilah (god), of whom he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely! Al-Kafirun (the disbelievers in Allah and in the Oneness of Allah, polytheists, pagans, idolaters, etc.) will not be successful.

وَقُل رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

(118

বলূনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা, ক্ষমা করুন ও রহম করুন। রহমকারীদের মধ্যে আপনি শ্রেষ্ট রহমকারী।

And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!"
