Surah Al-Muminun - Ayahs_91-105

23) সূরা আল মু'মিনূন (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 118

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

مَا اتَّخَذَ اللَّهُ مِن وَلَدٍ وَمَا كَانَ مَعَهُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ إِذًا لَّذَهَبَ كُلُّ إِلَهٍ بِمَا خَلَقَ وَلَعَلَا بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ

(91

আল্লাহ কোন সন্তান গ্রহণ করেননি এবং তাঁর সাথে কোন মাবুদ নেই। থাকলে প্রত্যেক মাবুদ নিজ নিজ সৃষ্টি নিয়ে চলে যেত এবং একজন অন্যজনের উপর প্রবল হয়ে যেত। তারা যা বলে, তা থেকে আল্লাহ পবিত্র।

No son (or offspring or children) did Allah beget, nor is there any ilah (god) along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him!

عَالِمِ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

(92

তিনি দৃশ্য ও অদৃশ্যের জ্ঞানী। তারা শরীক করে, তিনি তা থেকে উর্ধ্বে।

All-Knower of the unseen and the seen! Exalted be He over all that they associate as partners to Him!

قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ

(93

বলুনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! যে বিষয়ে তাদেরকে ওয়াদা দেয়া হয়েছে তা যদি আমাকে দেখান,

Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment),

رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي الْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ

(94

হে আমার পালনকর্তা! তবে আপনি আমাকে গোনাহগার সম্প্রদায়ের অন্তর্ভূক্ত করবেন না।

"My Lord! Then (save me from Your Punishment), and put me not amongst the people who are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing)."

وَإِنَّا عَلَى أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَادِرُونَ

(95

আমি তাদেরকে যে বিষয়ের ওয়াদা দিয়েছি, তা আপনাকে দেখাতে অবশ্যই সক্ষম।

And indeed We are Able to show you (O Muhammad SAW) that with which We have threatened them.

ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ

(96

মন্দের জওয়াবে তাই বলুন, যা উত্তম। তারা যা বলে, আমি সে বিষয়ে সবিশেষ অবগত।

Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter.

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ

(97

বলুনঃ হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমি শয়তানের প্ররোচনা থেকে আপনার আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি,

And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils).

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ

(98

এবং হে আমার পালনকর্তা! আমার নিকট তাদের উপস্থিতি থেকে আপনার আশ্রয় প্রার্থনা করি।

"And I seek refuge with You, My Lord! lest they may attend (or come near) me."

حَتَّى إِذَا جَاء أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ

(99

যখন তাদের কারও কাছে মৃত্যু আসে, তখন সে বলেঃ হে আমার পালণকর্তা! আমাকে পুনরায় (দুনিয়াতে ) প্রেরণ করুন।

Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back,

لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلَّا إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

(100

যাতে আমি সৎকর্ম করতে পারি, যা আমি করিনি। কখনই নয়, এ তো তার একটি কথার কথা মাত্র। তাদের সামনে পর্দা আছে পুনরুত্থান দিবস পর্যন্ত।

"So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected.

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَلَا أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَاءلُونَ

(101

অতঃপর যখন শিংগায় ফুৎকার দেয়া হবে, সেদিন তাদের পারস্পরিক আত্নীয়তার বন্ধন থাকবে না এবং একে অপরকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ করবে না।

Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another.

فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ

(102

যাদের পাল্লা ভারী হবে, তারাই হবে সফলকাম,

Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful.

وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ فَأُوْلَئِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ

(103

এবং যাদের পাল্লা হাল্কা হবে তারাই নিজেদের ক্ষতিসাধন করেছে, তারা দোযখেই চিরকাল বসবাস করবে।

And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide.

تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَالِحُونَ

(104

আগুন তাদের মুখমন্ডল দগ্ধ করবে এবং তারা তাতে বীভৎস আকার ধারন করবে।

The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured).

أَلَمْ تَكُنْ آيَاتِي تُتْلَى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ

(105

তোমাদের সামনে কি আমার আয়াত সমূহ পঠিত হত না? তোমরা তো সেগুলোকে মিথ্যা বলতে।

"Were not My Verses (this Qur'an) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?"
