Surah Al-Qalam - Ayahs_1-15

68) সূরা আল কলম (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 52

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

ن وَالْقَلَمِ وَمَا يَسْطُرُونَ

(1

নূন। শপথ কলমের এবং সেই বিষয়ের যা তারা লিপিবদ্ধ করে,

Nun. [These letters (Nun, etc.) are one of the miracles of the Qur'an, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. By the pen and what the (angels) write (in the Records of men).

مَا أَنتَ بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ بِمَجْنُونٍ

(2

আপনার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহে আপনি উম্মাদ নন।

You (O Muhammad SAW) are not, by the Grace of your Lord, a madman.

وَإِنَّ لَكَ لَأَجْرًا غَيْرَ مَمْنُونٍ

(3

আপনার জন্যে অবশ্যই রয়েছে অশেষ পুরস্কার।

And verily, for you (O Muhammad SAW) will be an endless reward.

وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ

(4

আপনি অবশ্যই মহান চরিত্রের অধিকারী।

And verily, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on an exalted standard of character.

فَسَتُبْصِرُ وَيُبْصِرُونَ

(5

সত্ত্বরই আপনি দেখে নিবেন এবং তারাও দেখে নিবে।

You will see, and they will see,

بِأَييِّكُمُ الْمَفْتُونُ

(6

কে তোমাদের মধ্যে বিকারগ্রস্ত।

Which of you is afflicted with madness.

إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَن ضَلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِ وَهُوَ أَعْلَمُ بِالْمُهْتَدِينَ

(7

আপনার পালনকর্তা সম্যক জানেন কে তাঁর পথ থেকে বিচ্যুত হয়েছে এবং তিনি জানেন যারা সৎপথ প্রাপ্ত।

Verily, your Lord knows better, who (among men) has gone astray from His Path, and He knows better those who are guided.

فَلَا تُطِعِ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ

(8

অতএব, আপনি মিথ্যারোপকারীদের আনুগত্য করবেন না।

So (O Muhammad SAW) obey not the deniers [(of Islamic Monotheism those who belie the Verses of Allah), the Oneness of Allah, and the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW), etc.]

وَدُّوا لَوْ تُدْهِنُ فَيُدْهِنُونَ

(9

তারা চায় যদি আপনি নমনীয় হন, তবে তারাও নমনীয় হবে।

They wish that you should compromise (in religion out of courtesy) with them, so they (too) would compromise with you.

وَلَا تُطِعْ كُلَّ حَلَّافٍ مَّهِينٍ

(10

যে অধিক শপথ করে, যে লাঞ্ছিত, আপনি তার আনুগত্য করবেন না।

And obey not everyone who swears much, and is considered worthless,

هَمَّازٍ مَّشَّاء بِنَمِيمٍ

(11

যে পশ্চাতে নিন্দা করে একের কথা অপরের নিকট লাগিয়ে ফিরে।

A slanderer, going about with calumnies,

مَنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ أَثِيمٍ

(12

যে ভাল কাজে বাধা দেয়, সে সীমালংঘন করে, সে পাপিষ্ঠ,

Hinderer of the good, transgressor, sinful,

عُتُلٍّ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ زَنِيمٍ

(13

কঠোর স্বভাব, তদুপরি কুখ্যাত;

Cruel, after all that base-born (of illegitimate birth),

أَن كَانَ ذَا مَالٍ وَبَنِينَ

(14

এ কারণে যে, সে ধন-সম্পদ ও সন্তান সন্ততির অধিকারী।

(He was so) because he had wealth and children.

إِذَا تُتْلَى عَلَيْهِ آيَاتُنَا قَالَ أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

(15

তার কাছে আমার আয়াত পাঠ করা হলে সে বলে; সেকালের উপকথা।

When Our Verses (of the Qur'an) are recited to him, he says: "Tales of the men of old!"

Surah Al-Qalam - Ayahs_16-30

68) সূরা আল কলম (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 52

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

سَنَسِمُهُ عَلَى الْخُرْطُومِ

(16

আমি তার নাসিকা দাগিয়ে দিব।

We shall brand him over the nose!

إِنَّا بَلَوْنَاهُمْ كَمَا بَلَوْنَا أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّهَا مُصْبِحِينَ

(17

আমি তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি, যেমন পরীক্ষা করেছি উদ্যানওয়ালাদের, যখন তারা শপথ করেছিল যে, সকালে বাগানের ফল আহরণ করবে,

Verily, We have tried them as We tried the people of the garden, when they swore to pluck the fruits of the (garden) in the morning,

وَلَا يَسْتَثْنُونَ

(18

ইনশাআল্লাহ না বলে।

Without saying: Insha' Allah (If Allah will).

فَطَافَ عَلَيْهَا طَائِفٌ مِّن رَّبِّكَ وَهُمْ نَائِمُونَ

(19

অতঃপর আপনার পালনকর্তার পক্ষ থেকে বাগানে এক বিপদ এসে পতিত হলো। যখন তারা নিদ্রিত ছিল।

Then there passed by on the (garden) something (fire) from your Lord at night and burnt it while they were asleep.

فَأَصْبَحَتْ كَالصَّرِيمِ

(20

ফলে সকাল পর্যন্ত হয়ে গেল ছিন্নবিচ্ছিন্ন তৃণসম।

So the (garden) became black by the morning, like a pitch dark night (in complete ruins).

فَتَنَادَوا مُصْبِحِينَ

(21

সকালে তারা একে অপরকে ডেকে বলল,

Then they called out one to another as soon as the morning broke,

أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَى حَرْثِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ

(22

তোমরা যদি ফল আহরণ করতে চাও, তবে সকাল সকাল ক্ষেতে চল।

Saying: "Go to your tilth in the morning, if you would pluck the fruits."

فَانطَلَقُوا وَهُمْ يَتَخَافَتُونَ

(23

অতঃপর তারা চলল ফিসফিস করে কথা বলতে বলতে,

So they departed, conversing in secret low tones (saying),

أَن لَّا يَدْخُلَنَّهَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَيْكُم مِّسْكِينٌ

(24

অদ্য যেন কোন মিসকীন ব্যক্তি তোমাদের কাছে বাগানে প্রবেশ করতে না পারে।

No Miskin (poor man) shall enter upon you into it today.

وَغَدَوْا عَلَى حَرْدٍ قَادِرِينَ

(25

তারা সকালে লাফিয়ে লাফিয়ে সজোরে রওয়ানা হল।

And they went in the morning with strong intention, thinking that they have power (to prevent the poor taking anything of the fruits therefrom).

فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهَا قَالُوا إِنَّا لَضَالُّونَ

(26

অতঃপর যখন তারা বাগান দেখল, তখন বললঃ আমরা তো পথ ভূলে গেছি।

But when they saw the (garden), they said: "Verily, we have gone astray,"

بَلْ نَحْنُ مَحْرُومُونَ

(27

বরং আমরা তো কপালপোড়া,

(Then they said): "Nay! Indeed we are deprived of (the fruits)!"

قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ

(28

তাদের উত্তম ব্যক্তি বললঃ আমি কি তোমাদেরকে বলিনি? এখনও তোমরা আল্লাহ তা'আলার পবিত্রতা বর্ণনা করছো না কেন?

The best among them said: "Did I not tell you: why do you not say: Insha' Allah (If Allah will)."

قَالُوا سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَالِمِينَ

(29

তারা বললঃ আমরা আমাদের পালনকর্তার পবিত্রতা ঘোষণা করছি, নিশ্চিতই আমরা সীমালংঘনকারী ছিলাম।

They said: "Glory to Our Lord! Verily, we have been Zalimun (wrong-doers, etc.)."

فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَاوَمُونَ

(30

অতঃপর তারা একে অপরকে ভৎর্সনা করতে লাগল।

Then they turned, one against another, in blaming.

Surah Al-Qalam - Ayahs_31-45

68) সূরা আল কলম (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 52

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ

(31

তারা বললঃ হায়! দুর্ভোগ আমাদের আমরা ছিলাম সীমাতিক্রমকারী।

They said: "Woe to us! Verily, we were Taghun (transgressors and disobedient, etc.)

عَسَى رَبُّنَا أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْرًا مِّنْهَا إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا رَاغِبُونَ

(32

সম্ভবতঃ আমাদের পালনকর্তা পরিবর্তে এর চাইতে উত্তম বাগান আমাদেরকে দিবেন। আমরা আমাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে আশাবাদী।

We hope that our Lord will give us in exchange a better (garden) than this. Truly, we turn to our Lord (wishing for good that He may forgive our sins, and reward us in the Hereafter)."

كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ

(33

শাস্তি এভাবেই আসে এবং পরকালের শাস্তি আরও গুরুতর; যদি তারা জানত!

Such is the punishment (in this life), but truly, the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they but knew.

إِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ

(34

মোত্তাকীদের জন্যে তাদের পালনকর্তার কাছে রয়েছে নেয়ামতের জান্নাত।

Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V.2:2) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord.

أَفَنَجْعَلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَالْمُجْرِمِينَ

(35

আমি কি আজ্ঞাবহদেরকে অপরাধীদের ন্যায় গণ্য করব?

Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)?

مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونَ

(36

তোমাদের কি হল ? তোমরা কেমন সিদ্ধান্ত দিচ্ছ?

What is the matter with you? How judge you?

أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ

(37

তোমাদের কি কোন কিতাব আছে, যা তোমরা পাঠ কর।

Or have you a Book through which you learn.

إِنَّ لَكُمْ فِيهِ لَمَا يَتَخَيَّرُونَ

(38

তাতে তোমরা যা পছন্দ কর, তাই পাও?

That you shall have all that you choose?

أَمْ لَكُمْ أَيْمَانٌ عَلَيْنَا بَالِغَةٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ إِنَّ لَكُمْ لَمَا تَحْكُمُونَ

(39

না তোমরা আমার কাছ থেকেকেয়ামত পর্যন্ত বলবৎ কোন শপথ নিয়েছ যে, তোমরা তাই পাবে যা তোমরা সিদ্ধান্ত করবে?

Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge.

سَلْهُم أَيُّهُم بِذَلِكَ زَعِيمٌ

(40

আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞাসা করুন তাদের কে এ বিষয়ে দায়িত্বশীল?

Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that!

أَمْ لَهُمْ شُرَكَاء فَلْيَأْتُوا بِشُرَكَائِهِمْ إِن كَانُوا صَادِقِينَ

(41

না তাদের কোন শরীক উপাস্য আছে? থাকলে তাদের শরীক উপাস্যদেরকে উপস্থিত করুক যদি তারা সত্যবাদী হয়।

Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful!

يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَن سَاقٍ وَيُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ

(42

গোছা পর্যন্ত পা খোলার দিনের কথা স্মরণ কর, সেদিন তাদেরকে সেজদা করতে আহবান জানানো হবে, অতঃপর তারা সক্ষম হবে না।

(Remember) the Day when the Shin shall be laid bare (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) and they shall be called to prostrate (to Allah), but they (hypocrites) shall not be able to do so,

خَاشِعَةً أَبْصَارُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ وَقَدْ كَانُوا يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى السُّجُودِ وَهُمْ سَالِمُونَ

(43

তাদের দৃষ্টি অবনত থাকবে; তারা লাঞ্ছনাগ্রস্ত হবে, অথচ যখন তারা সুস্থ ও স্বাভাবিক অবস্থায় ছিল, তখন তাদেরকে সেজদা করতে আহবান জানানো হত।

Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not).

فَذَرْنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ سَنَسْتَدْرِجُهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

(44

অতএব, যারা এই কালামকে মিথ্যা বলে, তাদেরকে আমার হাতে ছেড়ে দিন, আমি এমন ধীরে ধীরে তাদেরকে জাহান্নামের দিকে নিয়ে যাব যে, তারা জানতে পারবে না।

Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Qur'an. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not.

وَأُمْلِي لَهُمْ إِنَّ كَيْدِي مَتِينٌ

(45

আমি তাদেরকে সময় দেই। নিশ্চয় আমার কৌশল মজবুত।

And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong.

Surah Al-Qalam - Ayahs_46-52

68) সূরা আল কলম (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 52

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

أَمْ تَسْأَلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ

(46

আপনি কি তাদের কাছে পারিশ্রমিক চান? ফলে তাদের উপর জরিমানার বোঝা পড়ছে?

Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt?

أَمْ عِندَهُمُ الْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ

(47

না তাদের কাছে গায়বের খবর আছে? অতঃপর তারা তা লিপিবদ্ধ করে।

Or that the Ghaib (unseen here in this Verse it means Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz) is in their hands, so that they can write it down?

فَاصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُن كَصَاحِبِ الْحُوتِ إِذْ نَادَى وَهُوَ مَكْظُومٌ

(48

আপনি আপনার পালনকর্তার আদেশের অপেক্ষায় সবর করুন এবং মাছওয়ালা ইউনুসের মত হবেন না, যখন সে দুঃখাকুল মনে প্রার্থনা করেছিল।

So wait with patience for the Decision of your Lord, and be not like the Companion of the Fish, when he cried out (to Us) while he was in deep sorrow. (See the Qur'an, Verse 21:87).

لَوْلَا أَن تَدَارَكَهُ نِعْمَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ لَنُبِذَ بِالْعَرَاء وَهُوَ مَذْمُومٌ

(49

যদি তার পালনকর্তার অনুগ্রহ তাকে সামাল না দিত, তবে সে নিন্দিত অবস্থায় জনশুন্য প্রান্তরে নিক্ষিপ্ত হত।

Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed.

فَاجْتَبَاهُ رَبُّهُ فَجَعَلَهُ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

(50

অতঃপর তার পালনকর্তা তাকে মনোনীত করলেন এবং তাকে সৎকর্মীদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে নিলেন।

But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous.

وَإِن يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ

(51

কাফেররা যখন কোরআন শুনে, তখন তারা তাদের দৃষ্টি দ্বারা যেন আপনাকে আছাড় দিয়ে ফেলে দিবে এবং তারা বলেঃ সে তো একজন পাগল।

And verily, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip with their eyes through hatredness when they hear the Reminder (the Qur'an), and they say: "Verily, he (Muhammad SAW) is a madman!"

وَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ

(52

অথচ এই কোরআন তো বিশ্বজগতের জন্যে উপদেশ বৈ নয়।

But it is nothing else than a Reminder to all the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
