Surah Al-Ankabut - Ayahs_16-30

29) সূরা আল আনকাবুত (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 69

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

(16

স্মরণ কর ইব্রাহীমকে। যখন তিনি তাঁর সম্প্রদায়কে বললেন; তোমরা আল্লাহর এবাদত কর এবং তাঁকে ভয় কর। এটাই তোমাদের জন্যে উত্তম যদি তোমরা বোঝ।

And (remember) Ibrahim (Abraham) when he said to his people: "Worship Allah (Alone), and fear Him, that is better for you if you did but know.

إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لَكُمْ رِزْقًا فَابْتَغُوا عِندَ اللَّهِ الرِّزْقَ وَاعْبُدُوهُ وَاشْكُرُوا لَهُ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

(17

তোমরা তো আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে কেবল প্রতিমারই পূজা করছ এবং মিথ্যা উদ্ভাবন করছ। তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদের এবাদত করছ, তারা তোমাদের রিযিকের মালিক নয়। কাজেই আল্লাহর কাছে রিযিক তালাশ কর, তাঁর এবাদত কর এবং তাঁর কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ কর। তাঁরই কাছে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।

"You worship besides Allah only idols, and you only invent falsehood. Verily, those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to give you provision, so seek your provision from Allah (Alone), and worship Him (Alone), and be grateful to Him. To Him (Alone) you will be brought back.

وَإِن تُكَذِّبُوا فَقَدْ كَذَّبَ أُمَمٌ مِّن قَبْلِكُمْ وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ

(18

তোমরা যদি মিথ্যাবাদী বল, তবে তোমাদের পূর্ববর্তীরাও তো মিথ্যাবাদী বলেছে। স্পষ্টভাবে পয়গাম পৌছে দেয়াই তো রসূলের দায়িত্ব।

"And if you deny, then nations before you have denied (their Messengers). And the duty of the Messenger is only to convey (the Message) plainly."

أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَيْفَ يُبْدِئُ اللَّهُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ

(19

তারা কি দেখে না যে, আল্লাহ কিভাবে সৃষ্টিকর্ম শুরু করেন অতঃপর তাকে পুনরায় সৃষ্টি করবেন? এটা আল্লাহর জন্যে সহজ।

See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah.

قُلْ سِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانظُرُوا كَيْفَ بَدَأَ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ اللَّهُ يُنشِئُ النَّشْأَةَ الْآخِرَةَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

(20

বলুন, তোমরা পৃথিবীতে ভ্রমণ কর এবং দেখ, কিভাবে তিনি সৃষ্টিকর্ম শুরু করেছেন। অতঃপর আল্লাহ পুর্নবার সৃষ্টি করবেন। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ সবকিছু করতে সক্ষম।

Say: "Travel in the land and see how (Allah) originated creation, and then Allah will bring forth (resurrect) the creation of the Hereafter (i.e. resurrection after death). Verily, Allah is Able to do all things."

يُعَذِّبُُ مَن يَشَاء وَيَرْحَمُ مَن يَشَاء وَإِلَيْهِ تُقْلَبُونَ

(21

তিনি যাকে ইচ্ছা শাস্তি দেন এবং যার প্রতি ইচ্ছা রহমত করেন। তাঁরই দিকে তোমরা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।

He punishes whom He will, and shows mercy to whom He will, and to Him you will be returned.

وَمَا أَنتُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاء وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ مِن وَلِيٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

(22

তোমরা স্থলে ও অন্তরীক্ষে আল্লাহকে অপারগ করতে পারবে না এবং আল্লাহ ব্যতীত তোমাদের কোন হিতাকাঙ্খী নেই, সাহায্যকারীও নেই।

And you cannot escape in the earth or in the heaven. And besides Allah you have neither any Wali (Protector or Guardian) nor any Helper.

وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَلِقَائِهِ أُوْلَئِكَ يَئِسُوا مِن رَّحْمَتِي وَأُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

(23

যারা আল্লাহর আয়াত সমূহ ও তাঁর সাক্ষাত অস্বীকার করে, তারাই আমার রহমত থেকে নিরাশ হবে এবং তাদের জন্যেই যন্ত্রণাদায়ক শাস্তি রয়েছে।

And those who disbelieve in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah and the Meeting with Him, it is they who have no hope of My Mercy, and it is they who will (have) a painful torment.

فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا اقْتُلُوهُ أَوْ حَرِّقُوهُ فَأَنجَاهُ اللَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ

তখন ইব্রাহীমের সম্প্রদায়ের এছাড়া কোন জওয়াব ছিল না যে তারা বলল, তাকে হত্যা কর অথবা অগ্নিদগ্ধ কর। অতঃপর আল্লাহ তাকে অগ্নি থেকে রক্ষা করলেন। নিশ্চয় এতে বিশ্বাসী লোকদের জন্যে নিদর্শনাবলী রয়েছে।

So nothing was the answer of [Ibrahim's (Abraham)] people except that they said: "Kill him or burn him." Then Allah saved him from the fire. Verily, in this are indeed signs for a people who believe.

وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا اتَّخَذْتُم مِّن دُونِ اللَّهِ أَوْثَانًا مَّوَدَّةَ بَيْنِكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ يَكْفُرُ بَعْضُكُم بِبَعْضٍ وَيَلْعَنُ بَعْضُكُم بَعْضًا وَمَأْوَاكُمُ النَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّاصِرِينَ

ইব্রাহীম বললেন, পার্থিব জীবনে তোমাদের পারস্পরিক ভালবাসা রক্ষার জন্যে তোমরা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে প্রতিমাগুলোকে উপাস্যরূপে গ্রহণ করেছ। এরপর কেয়ামতের দিন তোমরা একে অপরকে অস্বীকার করবে এবং একে অপরকে লানত করবে। তোমাদের ঠিকানা জাহান্নাম এবং তোমাদের কোন সাহায্যকারী নেই।

And [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "You have taken (for worship) idols instead of Allah, and the love between you is only in the life of this world, but on the Day of Resurrection, you shall disown each other, and curse each other, and your abode will be the Fire, and you shall have no helper."

فَآمَنَ لَهُ لُوطٌ وَقَالَ إِنِّي مُهَاجِرٌ إِلَى رَبِّي إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

(26

অতঃপর তার প্রতি বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করলেন লূত। ইব্রাহীম বললেন, আমি আমার পালনকর্তার উদ্দেশে দেশত্যাগ করছি। নিশ্চয় তিনি পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময়।

So Lout (Lot) believed in him [Ibrahim's (Abraham) Message of Islamic Monotheism]. He [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "I will emigrate for the sake of my Lord. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي ذُرِّيَّتِهِ النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتَابَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَجْرَهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِنَّهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ لَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

(27

আমি তাকে দান করলাম ইসহাক ও ইয়াকুব, তাঁর বংশধরদের মধ্যে নবুওয়ত ও কিতাব রাখলাম এবং দুনিয়াতে তাঁকে পুরস্কৃত করলাম। নিশ্চয় পরকালে ও সে সৎলোকদর অন্তর্ভূক্ত হবে।

And We bestowed on him [Ibrahim (Abraham)], Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and ordained among his offspring Prophethood and the Book [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) (to Musa - Moses), the Injeel (Gospel) (to 'Iesa - Jesus), the Qur'an (to Muhammad SAW), all from the offspring of Ibrahim (Abraham)], and We granted him his reward in this world, and verily, in the Hereafter he is indeed among the righteous.

وَلُوطًا إِذْ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الْفَاحِشَةَ مَا سَبَقَكُم بِهَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ مِّنَ الْعَالَمِينَ

(28

আর প্রেরণ করেছি লূতকে। যখন সে তার সম্প্রদায়কে বলল, তোমরা এমন অশ্লীল কাজ করছ, যা তোমাদের পূর্বে পৃথিবীর কেউ করেনি।

And (remember) Lout (Lot), when he said to his people: "You commit Al-Fahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns)."

أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَأْتُونَ الرِّجَالَ وَتَقْطَعُونَ السَّبِيلَ وَتَأْتُونَ فِي نَادِيكُمُ الْمُنكَرَ فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابِ اللَّهِ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ الصَّادِقِينَ

তোমরা কি পুংমৈথুনে লিপ্ত আছ, রাহাজানি করছ এবং নিজেদের মজলিসে গর্হিত কর্ম করছ? জওয়াবে তাঁর সম্প্রদায় কেবল একথা বলল, আমাদের উপর আল্লাহর আযাব আন যদি তুমি সত্যবাদী হও।

"Verily, you do sodomy with men, and rob the wayfarer (travellers, etc.)! And practise Al-Munkar (disbelief and polytheism and every kind of evil wicked deed) in your meetings." But his people gave no answer except, that they said: "Bring Allah's Torment upon us if you are one of the truthful."

قَالَ رَبِّ انصُرْنِي عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْمُفْسِدِينَ

(30

সে বলল, হে আমার পালনকর্তা, দুস্কৃতকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে আমাকে সাহায্য কর।

He said: "My Lord! Give me victory over the people who are Mufsidun (those who commit great crimes and sins, oppressors, tyrants, mischief-makers, corrupts).
