Surah Al-Asr - Ayahs_1-3

103) Al-Asr সূরা আছর (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 3

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

وَالْعَصْرِ

1)

কসম যুগের (সময়ের),

By Al-'Asr (the time).

إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ

2)

নিশ্চয় মানুষ ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত;

Verily! Man is in loss,

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْرِ

3)

কিন্তু তারা নয়, যারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করে ও সৎকর্ম করে এবং পরস্পরকে তাকীদ করে সত্যের এবং তাকীদ করে সবরের।

Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth (i.e. order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'ruf CaaUNæy)which Allah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar CaaaßN)which Allah has forbidden), and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad, etc.).
