Surah Maryam - Ayahs_31-45

19) সূরা মারইয়াম (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 98

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاةِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا

(31

আমি যেখানেই থাকি, তিনি আমাকে বরকতময় করেছেন। তিনি আমাকে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যতদিন জীবিত থাকি, ততদিন নামায ও যাকাত আদায় করতে।

"And He has made me blessed wheresoever I be, and has enjoined on me Salat (prayer), and Zakat, as long as I live."

وَبَرًّا بِوَالِدَتِي وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِي جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا

(32

এবং জননীর অনুগত থাকতে এবং আমাকে তিনি উদ্ধত ও হতভাগ্য করেননি।

"And dutiful to my mother, and made me not arrogant, unblest.

وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوْمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوْمَ أُبْعَثُ حَيًّا

(33

আমার প্রতি সালাম যেদিন আমি জন্মগ্রহণ করেছি, যেদিন মৃত্যুবরণ করব এবং যেদিন পুনরুজ্জীবিত হয়ে উত্থিত হব।

"And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I die, and the day I shall be raised alive!"

ذَلِكَ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ قَوْلَ الْحَقِّ الَّذِي فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ

(34

এই মারইয়ামের পুত্র ঈসা। সত্যকথা, যে সম্পর্কে লোকেরা বিতর্ক করে।

Such is 'Iesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary). (it is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).

مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٍ سُبْحَانَهُ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

(35

আল্লাহ এমন নন যে, সন্তান গ্রহণ করবেন, তিনি পবিত্র ও মহিমাময় সত্তা, তিনি যখন কোন কাজ করা সিদ্ধান্ত করেন, তখন একথাই বলেনঃ হও এবং তা হয়ে যায়।

It befits not (the Majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son [this refers to the slander of Christians against Allah, by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah]. Glorified (and Exalted be He above all that they associate with Him). When He decrees a thing, He only says to it, "Be!" and it is.

وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ

(36

তিনি আরও বললেনঃ নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ আমার পালনকর্তা ও তোমাদের পালনকর্তা। অতএব, তোমরা তার এবাদত কর। এটা সরল পথ।

['Iesa (Jesus) said]: "And verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord. So worship Him (Alone). That is the Straight Path. (Allah's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets)." [Tafsir At-Tabari]

فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِن بَيْنِهِمْ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن مَّشْهَدِ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ

(37

অতঃপর তাদের মধ্যে দলগুলো পৃথক পৃথক পথ অবলম্বন করল। সুতরাং মহাদিবস আগমনকালে কাফেরদের জন্যে ধবংস।

Then the sects differed [i.e. the Christians about 'Iesa (Jesus) ], so woe unto the disbelievers [those who gave false witness by saying that 'Iesa (Jesus) is the son of Allah] from the meeting of a great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection, when they will be thrown in the blazing Fire).

أَسْمِعْ بِهِمْ وَأَبْصِرْ يَوْمَ يَأْتُونَنَا لَكِنِ الظَّالِمُونَ الْيَوْمَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ

(38

সেদিন তারা কি চমৎকার শুনবে এবং দেখবে, যেদিন তারা আমার কাছে আগমন করবে। কিন্তু আজ জালেমরা প্রকাশ্য বিভ্রান্তিতে রয়েছে।

How clearly will they (polytheists and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) see and hear, the Day when they will appear before Us! But the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) today are in plain error.

وَأَنذِرْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْحَسْرَةِ إِذْ قُضِيَ الْأَمْرُ وَهُمْ فِي غَفْلَةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

(39

আপনি তাদেরকে পরিতাপের দিবস সম্পর্কে হুশিয়ার করে দিন যখন সব ব্যাপারের মীমাংসা হয়ে যাবে। এখন তারা অনবধানতায় আছে এবং তারা বিশ্বাস স্থাপন করছে না।

And warn them (O Muhammad SAW) of the Day of grief and regrets, when the case has been decided, while (now) they are in a state of carelessness, and they believe not.

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَرِثُ الْأَرْضَ وَمَنْ عَلَيْهَا وَإِلَيْنَا يُرْجَعُونَ

(40

আমিই চুড়ান্ত মালিকানার অধিকারী হব পৃথিবীর এবং তার উপর যারা আছে তাদের এবং আমারই কাছে তারা প্রত্যাবর্তিত হবে।

Verily! We will inherit the earth and whatsoever is thereon. And to Us they all shall be returned,

وَاذْكُرْ فِي الْكِتَابِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّهُ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا

(41

আপনি এই কিতাবে ইব্রাহীমের কথা বর্ণনা করুন। নিশ্চয় তিনি ছিলেন সত্যবাদী, নবী।

And mention in the Book (the Qur'an) Ibrahim (Abraham). Verily! He was a man of truth, a Prophet.

إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَا أَبَتِ لِمَ تَعْبُدُ مَا لَا يَسْمَعُ وَلَا يُبْصِرُ وَلَا يُغْنِي عَنكَ شَيْئًا

(42

যখন তিনি তার পিতাকে বললেনঃ হে আমার পিতা, যে শোনে না, দেখে না এবং তোমার কোন উপকারে আসে না, তার এবাদত কেন কর?

When he said to his father: "O my father! Why do you worship that which hears not, sees not and cannot avail you in anything?

يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدْ جَاءنِي مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَمْ يَأْتِكَ فَاتَّبِعْنِي أَهْدِكَ صِرَاطًا سَوِيًّا

(43

হে আমার পিতা, আমার কাছে এমন জ্ঞান এসেছে; যা তোমার কাছে আসেনি, সুতরাং আমার অনুসরণ কর, আমি তোমাকে সরল পথ দেখাব।

"O my father! Verily! There has come to me of knowledge that which came not unto you. So follow me. I will guide you to a Straight Path.

يَا أَبَتِ لَا تَعْبُدِ الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَنِ عَصِيًّا

(44

হে আমার পিতা, শয়তানের এবাদত করো না। নিশ্চয় শয়তান দয়াময়ের অবাধ্য।

"O my father! Worship not Shaitan (Satan). Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has been a rebel against the Most Beneficent (Allah).

يَا أَبَتِ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٌ مِّنَ الرَّحْمَن فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيًّا

(45

হে আমার পিতা, আমি আশঙ্কা করি, দয়াময়ের একটি আযাব তোমাকে স্পর্শ করবে, অতঃপর তুমি শয়তানের সঙ্গী হয়ে যাবে।

"O my father! Verily! I fear lest a torment from the Most Beneficent (Allah) overtake you, so that you become a companion of Shaitan (Satan) (in the Hell-fire)." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]
