Surah As-Saffat - Ayahs_1-15

37) সূরা আস-সাফফাত (মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ), আয়াত সংখ্যা 182

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

শুরু করছি আল্লাহর নামে যিনি পরম করুণাময়, অতি দয়ালু।

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

وَالصَّافَّاتِ صَفًّا

(1

শপথ তাদের যারা সারিবদ্ধ হয়ে দাঁড়ানো,

By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows).

فَالزَّاجِرَاتِ زَجْرًا

(2

অতঃপর ধমকিয়ে ভীতি প্রদর্শনকারীদের,

By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way.

فَالتَّالِيَاتِ ذِكْرًا

(3

অতঃপর মুখস্থ আবৃত্তিকারীদের-

By those (angels) who bring the Book and the Qur'an from Allah to mankind [Tafsir Ibn Kathir].

إِنَّ إِلَهَكُمْ لَوَاحِدٌ

(4

নিশ্চয় তোমাদের মাবুদ এক।

Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah);

رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ الْمَشَارِقِ

(5

তিনি আসমান সমূহ, যমীনও এতদুভয়ের মধ্যবর্তী সবকিছুর পালনকর্তা এবং পালনকর্তা উদয়াচলসমূহের।

Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah).

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاء الدُّنْيَا بِزِينَةٍ الْكَوَاكِبِ

(6

নিশ্চয় আমি নিকটবর্তী আকাশকে তারকারাজির দ্বারা সুশোভিত করেছি।

Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty).

وَحِفْظًا مِّن كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّارِدٍ

(7

এবং তাকে সংরক্ষিত করেছি প্রত্যেক অবাধ্য শয়তান থেকে।

And to guard against every rebellious devil.

لَا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى الْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَى وَيُقْذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٍ

(8

ওরা উর্ধ্ব জগতের কোন কিছু শ্রবণ করতে পারে না এবং চার দিক থেকে তাদের প্রতি উল্কা নিক্ষেপ করা হয়।

They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side.

دُحُورًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ وَاصِبٌ

(9

ওদেরকে বিতাড়নের উদ্দেশে। ওদের জন্যে রয়েছে বিরামহীন শাস্তি।

Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment.

إِلَّا مَنْ خَطِفَ الْخَطْفَةَ فَأَتْبَعَهُ شِهَابٌ ثَاقِبٌ

(10

তবে কেউ ছোঁ মেরে কিছু শুনে ফেললে জ্বলন্ত উল্কাপিন্ড তার পশ্চাদ্ধাবন করে।

Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness.

فَاسْتَفْتِهِمْ أَهُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَم مَّنْ خَلَقْنَا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُم مِّن طِينٍ لَّازِبٍ

(11

আপনি তাদেরকে জিজ্ঞেস করুন, তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করা কঠিনতর, না আমি অন্য যা সৃষ্টি করেছি? আমিই তাদেরকে সৃষ্টি করেছি এঁটেল মাটি থেকে।

Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay.

بَلْ عَجِبْتَ وَيَسْخَرُونَ

(12

বরং আপনি বিস্ময় বোধ করেন আর তারা বিদ্রুপ করে।

Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Qur'an).

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُوا لَا يَذْكُرُونَ

(13

যখন তাদেরকে বোঝানো হয়, তখন তারা বোঝে না।

And when they are reminded, they pay no attention.

وَإِذَا رَأَوْا آيَةً يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ

(14

তারা যখন কোন নিদর্শন দেখে তখন বিদ্রূপ করে।

And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it.

وَقَالُوا إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ

(15

এবং বলে, কিছুই নয়, এযে স্পষ্ট যাদু।

And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic!
